Match Day Tomorrow

A huge amount of work goes into bringing the Brailsford Match together, and we would like to thank everyone who has helped with the preparations, along with our sponsors, exhibitors, competitors, trade stand holders, volunteers and supporters. After months of preparation, the wait is almost over!.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 7th October, we look forward to welcoming visitors, competitors, exhibitors, traders and supporters to Sapperton Manor, Church Broughton, Derbyshire, for the 120th Brailsford & District Ploughing & Hedgecutting Match.

If you’ve never visited before there’s plenty to see and do from ploughing and hedgecutting competitions to agricultural machinery, trade stands, vintage tractors and stationary engines, crafts, food and refreshments, there will be plenty to discover throughout the day.

The Match site opens to the public at 9.00am, with competitions and activities taking place across throughout the day.
