The Brailsford Match is steeped in history, please come along on the day to meet Eric Tunstall, our archivist, in the ‘Past & Present’ tent where you can see the match’s history through the ages.
Past and Present Marquee
Our tent is full of history and memorabilia with pictures of old machinery you used to use. With the help of the Magic Attic Newspaper Archives we have put together a good display.
Our books of farm history are for sale 1910 – 1915 and early 1970s.
Articles of 150 villages taken from newspapers in the early 70’s will be available to view and orders for copies taken.
Brailsford Match Merchandise
On sale in the tent, we have our book ‘Experts in their field’ with Brailsford Match results spanning 1895—2016. Along with the Brailsford Match jigsaw, 2026 calendar & pen, and car (or tractor) sticker.
