Annual Black-Tie Dinner

The Brailsford & District Ploughing & Hedgecutting Society hosted a spectacular black-tie dinner on the 24th of January, bringing together members, industry leaders and distinguished guests for an evening of celebration and camaraderie in recognition of agricultural excellence.

Held at the prestigious Burton Albion’s Pirelli Suite, the evening featured an exceptional beef dinner, which received high praise from attendees. The expertly prepared meal set the tone for a night of engaging conversation and celebration of the society’s rich heritage.

A highlight of the evening was the society raffle, which saw generous support from guests and sponsors. With a fantastic selection of prizes up for grabs, the raffle raised significant funds for showcasing the society’s commitment to supporting the agricultural community.

The evening also included the presentation of the long service award (50 years) to Mr John Yates recognising his outstanding contribution to the Society and the Agricultural community. Also thanks to John for organising the prime beef joints.

The Brailsford & District Ploughing & Hedgcutting Society extends its heartfelt thanks to all visitors, sponsors and supporters who make the society’s annual match the success that it has become. Plans are already underway for this year’s match to be held in October, promising another day of high-quality competition and memorable conversation, celebrating the best of agricultural excellence.
